While the prequel was a low budget one, the sequel was a higher budget one. The sequel was as good as the prequel. However, the story was slightly slow and slightly predictable. Even the screenplay could have been better. The music was nonsensical. The dialogues were good though. It was the comedy and entertainment that got me glued. The direction was somewhat fine. The cast also did a decent job. Kartik Aryan gives a 7 min monologue this time, and it was as good as the 1st one. He again nailed this scene. I was expecting this film would be better if Divyendu Sharma and Raayo Bhakirta were also a part of the sequel, but no. The replacements Sunny Singh and Omkar Kapoor (child actor of ‘Masoom’ fame) were fabulous. The same girls were used in different roles. Nushrat Bharucha as Chikoo was so adorable. Sonalii Seyghal was just about ok. Ishita Raj’s role was bolder than the previous one.
There is an inch difference between the two films. I would say that the prequel was better, though the sequel wasn’t bad as well. Good attempt. This is again, a youth-oriented a movie, older generation wouldn’t like it as much!
My Rating:- 3/5
